And the real work begins...

After we left the farm since we got done so early we decided to roast the chillies today. We all went to the ranch and the real work began. Troy and Bruce roasted while Karsyn, Aydin, Mindy, Kerry and I scrubbed the skin off. Then we had to get the stems and seeds out. Kerry does a lot of that part and she does the final wash in the house. She then bags all the chillies and divides them out to the family. Chillies are something that coming from Washington I knew nothing about but we all love to eat them for breakfast so this is a tradition that I am glad Troy has shared with him family.
