Apple Annie's
We got up very early to go with Troy's family to the farm to pick our own produce. Bruce, Kerry and Grandma Grace were all here at 515 to load up in Tahoe to drive to Wilcox. We met Mindy and her girls around 7 to try to beat the heat a little. We picked several carts full of chillies, cucumbers, peppers, squash, green beans, jalapenos, and corn (they had to pick the corn for us since they are getting ready to do a corn maze). It was great to watch the kids have to work for something they all love to eat. Malachi and Fynley picked so many red chillies I didn't think Grace would ever tell them she had enough. They loved every minute of it and really enjoyed the work. Addi played with the produce and had a lot of fun since Aydin kept pushing her in the carts. It was well worth the lack of sleep and the drive to get to enjoy to veggies and the lesson the kids got to learn about where and how their food grows.
